Hernán is responsible for transforming product ideation, design and development, as well as growth into an evidence-driven culture where intelligence becomes an intrinsic part of the product to ship. He manages, grows, and strives to inspire a world-class team of data experts across all information spectrum: information engines (ingest&digest), analytics engines (visualize), data science (apply), experimentation and optimization (test and learn).

Hernán has extensive leadership experience in commercial research organizations and managing interdisciplinary global research teams. He managed teams from 5 to 275 data engineers, data scientists, and data strategists across many non-collocated sites (San Jose, Salt Lake City, Omaha, Dublin(Ireland), Berlin, Sofia, Shanghai, Pune, Panama, Sao Paulo, Mexico DF), but his goal is to always show the impact he can create, no matter how small or large the teams can be.

Hernán has a degree in Information Systems Engineering with specialization on Applied Math; additionally, he graduated in 2011 from Stanford Executive Program, Graduate School of Business. Hernán also spent 5 years in academia as a lecturer at the Math Department in The School of Engineering in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Discrete Math, Calculus, and Fractal Theory.
